About Our History
Norman Love Confections was founded by Norman and Mary Love in Fort Myers, Florida in 2001.
Originally intending to sell wholesale to acquaintances he had made in the restaurant industry, Love quickly realized that there was great consumer demand for the ultra-premium chocolates he was producing, and opened his flagship chocolate salon off of Daniels Parkway. In the 16 years since, Norman Love Confections has opened three additional chocolate salons, along with an artisan gelato shop located adjacent to the original retail location.
Today Norman Love Confections enjoys significant international recognition for the exquisite gourmet chocolates it produces each day.
Sweet Beginnings
An early love of art and baking first inspired Norman Love to pursue a career in the culinary world. After learning the craft of pastry making in France, he accepted the role of corporate executive pastry chef at The Ritz-Carlton.
During his 13 year tenure with the luxury hotel, Love oversaw all pastry and baking operations, opening 30 resort pastry kitchens across the globe.

Creative Vision
At Norman Love Confections, our goal is simple: taking the highest-quality ingredients money can buy, and transforming them into gorgeous gourmet works of art. We eschew the preservatives and mass assembly lines in favor of handcrafting each piece from premium chocolate, butter, nuts, spices, and natural flavorings. The end result is a line of signature chocolates and whimsical novelties that taste, look, and smell unlike anything else.
Norman Love Confections Launches
In 2001, the culinary virtuoso left the corporate world and entered into private enterprise with the founding of Norman Love Confections. His adventurous flair, love of the avant-garde, and penchant for perfection are basic ingredients in the ultra-premium chocolates he produces.
A decade later, Norman opened a second chocolate and dessert salon in Naples, Florida. And in 2012, Artisan Gelato by Norman Love™ opened next to the Fort Myers chocolate and dessert salon off Daniels Parkway. A third chocolate salon opened in Miromar Outlets in Estero in 2014, and a fourth on McGregor Boulevard in 2016.
In addition to its signature collection chocolates and limited-edition holiday flavors, Norman Love Confections offers an extensive variety of innovative novelty products, including “Naked Love” cakes, Norman Love Confections BLACK line of dark chocolates, “Stir, Bake, LOVE” gourmet cookie baking kits, rich sipping chocolates, solid chocolate high heels, and gourmet inclusion bars, among others.
